Gyeonggi Suwon International School
An unforgiving schedule and a steep 7.9-acre building site posed significant challenges for the design team in creating this new 850-student, private international school in Suwon, South Korea. The school plan includes pre-K–12 classrooms, administrative offices, a performing arts auditorium, music rooms, and underground parking. A state-of-the-art athletic complex houses two gymnasiums, an Olympic-size swimming pool, and rooftop tennis courts. Employing a fast-track process throughout design and construction allowed Gyeonggi Suwon International School to open in time for the 2006 school year.
