The New Theatre for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival provides a preeminent venue for the festival’s most intimate and experimental productions. With flexible acoustic and lighting systems and fully movable modular seating, the theater supports three stage configurations, accommodating an audience of 260 to 340 people.

DECA's interior design emphasizes a comfortable, contemporary environment, utilizing natural and regional materials for the finishes and color selections in the theater, lobby, and support spaces, which include dressing rooms, a green room, a warm-up room, wardrobe and hair dressing rooms, and offices. The lobby furnishings work with the open and inviting space, enhancing the audience’s experience with views of other theaters and theater goers, the active community streets of the festival, and the hills and sky across the valley.
