Kurilo-Haagenson Residence
Located on a wooded site overlooking the Sandy River in Troutdale, Oregon, this 3,000-square-foot, three-bedroom house nestles into its surroundings. The design’s signature deep overhangs were realized with laminated wood beams and the natural use of local materials. A board-formed concrete wall runs through the house, and beyond the exterior walls, separating the private spaces from the more public ones.
