DECA, in collaboration with friends Bill Dieter, Kai Gyr, Chris Rizzo, Patti Stein, Tess Darrow and Kim Porter, decorated 1 of the 108 life-sized cows installed around Portland as part of "Kows for Kids" in 2002. Through sponsorship and auction of the cows, 2.1 million dollars was raised to support local charities Trillium Family Services and New Avenues for Youth.
